Other "sound alike" organizations have been actively seeking donations in Central Virginia by telephone or direct mail solicitation.  These solicitations usually occur before and after the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's events.  Several of our clients and friends have called thinking these activities are from the NMSS and our chapter.  The similarity in names is confusing.

These sound alike organizations are not affiliated with the NMSS or the Central Virginia Chapter in any way.  Support of these organizations does not benefit the NMSS, our services, or our research program.
